So, working on what was supposed to have been page 8 of the Shojo Brite project, I stopped to think about the direction that I'm going with this.

*SPOILER ALEERT*: In the next 2 or 3 pages I was going to have the lady in white explain to Wisp about Rainbowland, The Dark One invading, and how the colors disappearing would affect Earth. Instead, I'm going to jump to Wisp already in the ravaged wastelands to meet Twink. She talks about her arrival to him in the next chapter (in which I will show the full color sequence at this point), since Twink will explain why he's there, and that he's not an original resident of Rainbowland. So a little switcharoo's going to take place. I know I promised that the next page was going to be in full color, but I'll have to revert to black & white. To everyone who's reading along with this story: I'm sorry I'm sorry!

Let's see. *DOLLY RANT* I'm not too crazy about the rooted Strawberry Shortcake dolls that were recently released by Hasbro. But I can't help but be drawn to the new art & miniature pvc dolls! It's kind of difficult to keep the hat on Strawberry, but the headband fits on her molded hair just fine. I bought the "Berry Stylish" playset, and I'm kind of tempted to get the figure that comes with Custard, as well as the big Cafe playset... but instead I went for the strawberry-themed Re-ments that I ordered through a local shop. So I'm going to see how well it scales to her (maybe the food items are a bit larger for her cause they're Blythe & Licca sized). Can't wait to get those and set up my diorama!
